In Any 5E Products, Because of the Purity ProcessThe cannabis plant is a known bioaccumulator, which means it can absorb a large majority of whatever its root system comes into contact with, including toxins like heavy metals. Heavy metals are naturally occurring elements that are found throughout the Earth's soils. We are inevitably exposed to heavy metals through the air we breathe, the food we eat and even the water we drink. However, due to our extract and isolation process, the Fifth Element products you purchase contain absolutely no heavy metals because they have been rigorously filtered out.
From Soil to Sun
Common heavy metals found in bedrock, terrane and soils include nickel, zinc, manganese and copper. However, more dangerous metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury can also be found in high concentrations in the earth's soil. If the plant material contains heavy metals absorbed from its grounds, then the plant's oils will also include these contaminants.
Of course, the way the plants are produced is important, but it is equally vital for the process of extraction to be organic, thus pulling out only the best (and brightest) compounds and components from the cannabis plant itself, ensuring the final product is free of metals and other extraneous material that may lead to toxicity.
The Difference of Distillate
We are essentially infusing all of our products with CBD Distillate, which is a heavily refined liquid form of hemp. The distillate is made using a Short Path - which removes all of the fats, lipids, and other undesirables that you do not want in your end product. The hemp oil is distilled several times through the Short Path until you are left with a clean and potent final product.
The Long Way to the Short Path
Short-path distillation separates components from the extracted oil by capitalizing on the constituent compounds' differing chemical characteristics. The solubility and vapor pressure of compounds in a mixture (among other traits) affect the evaporation step during distillation. By selectively targeting these physical properties of the materials involved, the experimental conditions for collecting predictable and reproducible constituents can be identified. This is done primarily through measuring the vapor temperature and noticing a color change. The distillation is entirely reliant on temperature.
Full-Spectrum Distillate is not as fully refined as CBD Isolate because we want to retain the characteristics of the "whole-plant" but still refine it, so it doesn't affect the taste or consistencies of our products too much. Full-spectrum distillate will be a honey or amber color; if it is thoroughly refined into a CBD Isolate, you are left with a colorless, odorless, tasteless final product. One reason people prefer full-spectrum hemp products has to do with a process known as the “entourage effect.” This term refers to the fact that various cannabinoids tend to work together to produce a more significant benefit
The final product of Hemp/CBD requires unique preparations and methods of testing that can be extremely challenging due to its complex composition and various concentration levels from different compounds. Accreditation standards provide confidence to cannabis consumers that testing is performed correctly and to a universally accepted standard. At Fifth Element Pro Hemp Supplements, we use a regulated third-party testing company to ensure that every single molecule in the products we put on the shelves is top-notch, allowing for maximum potency, purity, etc. results. But how we got to this finished product was through trial and error, a bit of luck, and never giving up, because we want our customers to be as happy and healthy as possible.
Going through the cultivation process to reduce potential sources of heavy metal contamination from a cannabis preparation include drying, extraction, production, and manufacturing perspective. The goal is to minimize the use of metal-based processing/extraction /manufacturing equipment and pull out all the unnecessary materials, so each 5E product is, at its core, only a few simple, all-natural ingredients.
